Beim Ausritt entdecken die Fürstin und der Hofjunker Honorio einen Brand auf dem Marktplatz. Honorio tötet einen den Gauklern entflohenen Tiger, ein Löwe wird durch das wunderbare Flötenspiel eines Knaben gezähmt und den Gauklern, deren Lebensunterhalt er sichert, zurückgegeben.
