The Author
Ralf Schenk is a film publicist and employee of the "Berliner Zeitung", the "film dienst", the "Magazin" and the CineGraph film lexicon. He has written numerous books and television documentaries on film history and has been head of the DEFA Foundation in Berlin since 2012.
