Christine und die Störche

Short Summary (English)

An old ruin serves as the favorite playground for Christine and her friends. It is also the home to a pair of storks that have built their nest there. When the ruin is meant to be demolished, Christine is eager on rescuing the helpless baby storks that are not yet fully fledged. However, neither the fire fighters nor the wrecking company’s crane operator are able to recover the nest from the ruin and thus save the baby storks. Christine, who is unwilling to give up, finally comes up with an idea: She hurries to the near-by airfield and persuades the local commander to send a helicopter towards the ruin. Thus, the storks can be saved just in time.

Short Summary (German)

Christine und ihre Freunde spielen oft in der Nähe einer Ruine, auf der sich ein Storchenpaar eingenistet hat. Jetzt soll die Ruine gesprengt werden, und das Sprengkommando ist angerückt. Christine möchte die Storchenjungen, die noch nicht flügge sind, retten. Doch die Feuerwehr ist im Einsatz, und dem Kranführer der Abbruchfirma gelingt es nicht, das Nest herunterzuheben. Also macht sich Christine zum nahegelegenen Flugplatz auf und überredet den Kommandanten, einen Hubschrauber zur Rettung der Störche zu schicken.

Christine e i suoi amici giocano spesso nei pressi di una rovina dove si è annidata una coppia di cicogne. Ora che la rovina deve essere abbattuta, Christine vuole salvare i cicognini incapaci di volare. Nonostante l'intervento dei vigili del fuoco, il gruista della ditta di demolizioni non riesce a prendere il nido. Christine corre al più vicino campo d'aviazione e convince un comandante a mandare un elicottero a salvare le cicogne. (Italienisch)
