The American industrialist and Lenin-peace-laureate Cyrus Eaton and his wife visited the GDR for a few days. Otto Grotewohl, Walter Ulbricht, Friedrich Ebert and other personalities from the GDR welcomed him and he travelled to different cities and districts of the GDR.
