Short Summary (English)
As a token of his marriage proposal, the king sends a crown, with Fallada the horse to his bride-to-be. The king is very happy that he will finally meet his bride - but it turns out that it is actually another woman pretending to be his fiancée. Only with the help of a young boy who knows the real bride does the King discover that she is not his bride - and that Fallada never arrived at the bride’s home. Based on a Brothers Grim fairy tale.

Short Summary (German)
Der König schickt das Pferd Fallada mit der Krone, Symbol der Auserwählung, zu seiner Braut. Unterwegs bemächtigt sich die ungetreue Begleiterin der Krone, tötet das Pferd und gibt sich als die Verlobte aus. Der König traut dem äußeren Schein. Erst der Junge, mit dem die Braut die Gänse hütet, macht ihn auf den Irrtum aufmerksam und veranlaßt den König, zu prüfen, was echt und was unecht ist.
