Short Summary (English)
The satirist Lothar Kusche, alias Felix Mantel, wrote the texts and plays the part of ill-fated Mr. Zuckerboldt whose love for the sublime drives him into the oppressive arms of kitsch. With cheerful irony he makes fun of bad taste rampant everywhere and strikes the battle against the garden gnome – using nonsense to win against narrow-minded morality and petit-bourgeois taste.
